Next on the bill is Dashboard Confessional. I brought this guys album "A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar." by accident, but it is now the most played cd on my stereo. I was lucky enough to score a copy with a bonus DVD of one of his live gigs and all I can say is WOW! Chris Carrabba's storytelling ability is constant throughout this album, and is surprising in its diversity. It's also coy, charming, effusive, complicated, warm, in love, in doubt, and ready to live everyday with you from morning until late into the night. This will be one of those albums that will be the sound track to this summer. I challenge you to check out the first track on the album "Hands Down" coz from that moment on, you'll be hooked.
